British Airways sets up new South Asia commercial management team
Anjali Puri has been appointed commercial development manager, while Nepali Gandhi will be corporate sales manager for the region.
As part of the rejig exercise, Anjali Puri has been appointed commercial development manager for South Asia, while Nepali Gandhi will be corporate sales manager for the sub- continent, an airline release said here.
Besides, Tarun Minocha has been appointed as trade sales manager for South Asia, the release said.
Commenting on the new appointments, British Airways Regional Commercial Manager Christopher Fordyce said, "we have specially selected a core team to drive the next phase of our growth. India is a very important market for British Airways and we have grown considerably in the last few years. We need to ensure that we tap into the tremendous growth potential that India offers."
The airline is confident that its new commercial team would help the carrier continue its growth significantly in the region, he said.
