Please be assured that our teams are here to assist you at every step and provide full support,” the advisory said. “Here's hoping clearer skies help us serve you better soon, and thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.”
The advisory comes amid fog-related disruptions across several parts of the country, particularly northern India, which have affected flight schedules in recent days.
The airline added that it is fully prepared for the expected surge in travel demand during the festive and holiday season. “With this, we are pleased to confirm that we are fully prepared to cater to the surge in demand during this holiday season,” the statement said.
Looking ahead, IndiGo said it is preparing to induct its first Airbus A321XLR aircraft. “We are all set to welcome our and India's first Airbus A321XLR, which will redefine medium-to-long haul flying for travellers in India and the subcontinent,” an IndiGo spokesperson said. The airline plans to deploy the aircraft on routes connecting Delhi and Mumbai with Athens starting January 23, 2026.
The spokesperson added, “We are also evaluating additional domestic and international destinations in line with our fleet expansion plans and will share further updates in due course.”
