BANGALORE: The Zurich Airport Management, a partner of the consortium building the first-ever greenfield Bangalore international airport with private participation, on Tuesday called on Karnataka chief minister HD Kumarasway and briefed him about the pace of work.

The delegation led by Zurich Airport Management representative Joseph Felder told Mr Kumaraswamy that the Rs 2,400-crore project was on “schedule” and would be made operational by April ’08.

Mr Felder assisted by Bangalore International Airport CEO Albert Brunner explained to the CM the progress of work and global tenders being floated by the company for awarding maintenance and other services in the new airport.
