Alliance Air to resume operations from Kochi on March 1

KOCHI: Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India Limited, will resume operations from Kochi to Agatti and back from March 1, 2013.

The ATR aircraft will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

"The four times a week service on the Agatti sector will be of immense help to the Islanders ", said an official spokesperson of the airline. The commencement of the service is expected to increase the tourist traffic to the islands of Lakshwadeep.
