Akasa Air adds Ayodhya as 18th destination to its domestic network

Akasa Air on Wednesday announced the addition of Ayodhya at the 18th destination to its domestic network. The airline will operate daily through flights between Pune and Ayodhya via Delhi (with no change of aircraft required at Delhi.

The flights have been introduced for daytime travel during prime hours for passenger convenience, said the airline.

Travellers can now book flights on Akasa Air’s website, Android and iOS app or through multiple leading OTAs.


“The addition of Ayodhya to Akasa Air’s network is aligned with the airline’s commitment to strengthen its domestic operations and provide transportation links to travellers visiting the city at affordable fares,” said Akasa in a press release.

Since its launch in August 2022, Akasa Air has served over 6.3 million passengers and connects with 18 cities across India, namely Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Port Blair and Ayodhya.
