Air Mauritius to launch weekly flight to India

The first flight, scheduled for April 28 under a code-sharing agreement with Air India, will take the Mauritius-Bangalore-Chennai-Mauritius route.

NAIROBI: Air Mauritius will next month launch a weekly flight to Bangalore, the firm announced on Friday.

The first flight, scheduled for April 28 under a code-sharing agreement with Air India, will take the Mauritius-Bangalore-Chennai-Mauritius route, it said in a statement.

Bangalore will be the airline's fourth destination in India after Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai.

Created in 1967, Air Mauritius is a national carrier that operates 12 planes to 26 destinations around the world.
