Air India's London ops on hold till weather improves

Air India has said its London- bound flights from Delhi and Mumbai, which were to be operated today, will remain on hold till the weather conditions improve and the Heathrow Airport authorities give a green signal.

MUMBAI: Air India has said its London- bound flights from Delhi and Mumbai, which were to be operated today, will remain on hold till the weather conditions improve and the Heathrow Airport authorities give a green signal.

Flights AI-111/AI-112 on the Delhi-London-Delhi sector and AI-130/AI-131 on the Mumbai-London-Mumbai sector on December 20 are held back at the originating stations in view of the prevailing bad weather conditions in Britain, the national carrier said in a release here today.

Passengers bound for London from the two metropolises have been requested to be in touch with the airline offices before reporting at the airports, it said.

Also, passengers who have bookings on these flights and want to change them to a future date may do so without any additional cost, the release said.
