An Air India flight that was supposed to traverse the Delhi-San Francisco route ended up returning to the stand on Monday, due to a technical glitch.

The aircraft with the issue was replaced and later took off for San Francisco. A little over 200 passengers were onboard.

According to PTI sources, the plane had pushed back and returned to the stand before take off due to the technical issue. Later, the passengers were accommodated in another aircraft.


There was no immediate statement from Air India.
