Air India waives off no-show charges at Srinagar airport
Curfew has been imposed in Srinagar after people took to street over the killing of a terrorist by security forces.
"It is has been decided to waive applicable penalties of re-issuance, date change, no-show, cancellation and refund charges for travel from/to Srinagar for both domestic and international flights, on all tickets issued on/before 9th of July 2016 for travel during the period 9th of July 2016 to 11th," said a senior Air India official, who did not want to be identified.
"Vistara is waiving all change and cancellation fees for travel to and from Srinagar in view of ongoing situation. We are continuously monitoring situation. Flights to and from Srinagar are operating normally," said Vistara in two tweets.
