Air India to resume flights from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar, Ranchi

Fulfilling a long-standing demand for connectivity of Kolkata to neighbouring states, Air India has decided to launch its daily services to the capitals of Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha from January 1.

NEW DELHI: Fulfilling a long-standing demand for connectivity of Kolkata to neighbouring states, Air India has decided to launch its daily services to the capitals of Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha from January 1.

"Air India will be restarting daily flights to these destinations which will operate on Kolkata-Bhubaneswar-Kolkata and Kolkata-Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi-Kolkata sectors with effect from January 1," an Air India spokesperson said, adding there had been a long standing demand for air services to the neighbouring states from Kolkata.

Air India will operate the flight with ATR aircraft to Bhubaneswar and Ranchi.
