Air India to launch Dehradun-Lucknow flight from May 2

The service will be available four days a week with a stop over in New Delhi. Uttarakhand CM expressed gratitude to the airline's board of management.

DEHRADUN: Air India will launch flight services between Dehradun and Lucknow from May 2. The service will be available four days a week with a stop over in New Delhi, according to an official release issued here.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna expressed gratitude to the airline's board of management, saying the service will not only be helpful for natives of Uttarakhand residing in Lucknow, but also boost tourism and industry sectors in the state, the release stated.

Bahuguna had been requesting Air India Managing Director Rohit Nandan for the service since the past few months, it said.
