Air India signs code sharing pack with Hong Kong Airlines

Air India today signed a code sharing agreement with Hong Kong Airlines, a Skytrax member and a 4-star airline.

MUMBAI: Ailing national carrier Air India, which reported a whopping Rs 5000-crore net loss last fiscal, today signed a code sharing agreement with Hong Kong Airlines, a Skytrax member and a 4-star airline.

Under the agreement, Hong Kong Airlines ( HKA) would place its code on direct flights operated by Air India between Hong Kong and Delhi, Osaka and Seoul, Air India said in a statement.

Following this development, HKA passengers would be able to enjoy daily Air India flights between Hong Kong and New Delhi and between Hong Kong, thrice a week between Hong Kong and Osaka, as well as a four-times weekly flights between Hong Kong and Seoul. Air India flies the Dreamliner on these routes.
