Air India plane makes 'precautionary landing', passengers safe

An Air India Delhi-Bagdogra plane, with 152 passengers on board, made a 'precautionary landing' at the N S C Bose International airport here today.

KOLKATA: An Air India Delhi-Bagdogra plane, with 152 passengers on board, made a 'precautionary landing' at the N S C Bose International airport here today.

The plane was passing over Kolkata airspace when the pilot detected hydraulic problem and contacted the ATC, N S C Bose International airport seeking permission for unscheduled stop-over, an AI spokesperson said here.

The aircraft then made 'precautionary landing' with all procedures in place and the passengers disembarked around noon, the spokesperson said.

The stranded passengers were then accommodated in another flight which left at around 5 pm.
