Air India flight faces hydraulic failure, makes emergency landing in Mumbai

A full emergency was declared on the Air India aircraft AI 662 due to the issue. However, the emergency call was withdrawn after the aircraft landed safely at the Mumbai's CSI airport.

MUMBAI: An Air India Goa-Mumbai flight had to make an emergency landing at the Mumbai airport after a hydraulic failure, setting off fire alarms and forcing a call for the fire truck.

A full emergency was declared on the Air India aircraft AI 662 due to the issue. However, the emergency call was withdrawn after the aircraft landed safely at the Mumbai's CSI airport.

The situation was brought under control and all passengers were safe.
