Air India extends benefits of eSuperSaver scheme to March next year

National carrier Air India has extended the benefits of its coupon-based eSuperSaver scheme till March next year.

NEW DELHI: National carrier Air India has extended the benefits of its coupon-based eSuperSaver scheme till March next year.

The Government-owned airline had in August last year announced a promotional single-user scheme for business class flyers on its select domestic sectors.

The scheme is available in two variants--a 4-coupon booklet of Rs 44,000 for sectors up to 750 km and a 4-coupon booklet of Rs 88,000 for all sectors beyond 750 km.

The scheme is valid till March 2016, Air India said, adding the booklet fares are inclusive of all surcharges, levies and fees.

Available for sale exclusively through Air India's website, the promotional scheme offers exclusive benefits to business class travellers, especially to those booking tickets closer to the dates of travel, it said.

An added bonus for customers, who are part of Air India's loyalty programme, Flying Returns, or a frequent flyer program of any Star Alliance carrier, is that they will be able to accrue 200 per cent of the base miles each time they redeem the coupons under eSuperSaver offer, the airline added.
