Air Arabia to fly to Hyderabad daily from Oct 27
The UAE's low-cost carrier Air Arabia on Tuesday announced that it will launch daily service from Sharjah to Andhra Pradesh's capital Hyderabad beginning October 27.
DUBAI : The UAE's low-cost carrier Air Arabia on Tuesday announced that it will launch daily service from Sharjah to Andhra Pradesh's capital Hyderabad beginning October 27.
Hyderabad will be Air Arabia's 43rd global destination and its 12th in India. Currently, the airline provides direct service to Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The low-cost carrier will fly to Hyderabad daily, departing Sharjah at 0:20 am and arriving at Hyderabad at 5:30 am. Return flights will depart Hyderabad at 6:15 am and arrive in Sharjah at 8:40 am.
"Following the introduction of service to New Delhi in March, we are delighted to further expand our destination network in India by announcing the launch of service to Hyderabad," said A K Nizar, the head of commercial department, Air Arabia.
"Hyderabad is known for its rich history, culture and architecture representing its unique character as a meeting point for North and South India.
Air Arabia commenced operations in October 2003 and currently operates a fleet of 15 Airbus A320 aircraft, serving destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and Central Asia through its main hub in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
