AI set to launch Mumbai-NY nonstop flights
Air-India will kickoff nonstop flights between Mumbai and New York City on Wednesday.
Flight AI-141will take off from the Mumbai international airport at 00:45 hours for JFK airport. It will arrive in New York at 7:10 hours.
The 777-200LR boasts mood lighting, audio/video Thales i4000/i5000 entertainment system for every seat, PC power, USB/RJB ports, wall mounted satellite telephones.
The flight back from New York, AI-140, will leave JFK airport at 21:30 hours and will reach Mumbai at 22:15+1 hours the following day.
The national carrier will serve onboard Indian, continental and oriental cuisine. The airline will also introduce Convenio food service, or meals at preferred times and convenience, for first class passengers.
The aircraft has eight first class seats, 35 executive class seats and 195 economy class fares.
