AI Express starts operation on Mangalore-Dubai route

The inaugural flight on October 3 will commence from Delhi proceed to Amritsar and onward to Dubai.

NEW DELHI: International budget airline Air India Express, a fully-owned subsidiary of Air India, will start operating on Delhi-Amritsar-Dubai and Mangalore-Dubai routes from October 3.
The inaugural flight on October 3 will commence from Delhi proceed to Amritsar and onward to Dubai, the company said in a statement.
On the same day, operations between Mangalore and Dubai would start, it said.
The flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft in an all-economy version.
The company is offering special inaugural fares for a limited period.
With effect from October 5, there would be three weekly frequencies each between Amritsar, Delhi, Mangalore and Dubai.
The departures from India will be on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
