Emergency response teams, including airport fire and medical units, were immediately deployed at Lucknow airport as a precautionary measure. Flight 6E6504 touched down safely at 6:29 PM, carrying 103 passengers and six crew members. Officials confirmed that all individuals on board deboarded safely without further incident.

Recent Air India Express Alert: Just days prior, a Delhi-bound Air India Express Boeing 737 MAX 8 executed a precautionary landing in Lucknow after a smoke alert sounded in its aft cargo compartment. Emergency teams inspected the plane upon arrival and found no trace of smoke.
March Air India Express Incident: In March, another Delhi-bound Air India Express flight landed prematurely at Lucknow after pilots detected suspected smoke inside the cabin. That flight also landed without incident, allowing all passengers and crew to disembark safely.
