Vodafone's big league in North India won by Neva Garments

CHANDIGARH: Vodafone India's drive into the Big League contest for SMEs' today saw Ludhiana based Neva Garments outpace Chandigarh based telecom value added services company Altruist Technologies in the run up to put company's logo on McLaren Mercedes cars at the second season of the formula one motor racing event to be held in Delhi.

Over 2.7 lakh SMEs are likely to participate in the contest and preliminaries are to be held in 10 cities. The final to be held in Delhi will feature 21 participants battling out in a television series that will run through month of September and October this year.

"The initiative provides excellent opportunity for brand building for the winner," vice president marketing Vodafone business services, Kavita Nair said. "Vodafone offers variety of voice, data, fixed line and wireless to serve needs of enterprises," she added.
