Vodafone to offer 2 GB free data on Micromax Canvas Knight smartphone purchase

NEW DELHI: Vodafone India, the country's No. 2 mobile phone company, said it will offer free data usage of up to 2GB for buyers of Micromax Canvas Knight 3G Smartphone who aren't active data users.

The offer is initially available on the Canvas Knight, and would be extended to a wider portfolio of Micromax devices, the two companies said in a joint statement.

"Vodafone’s focus is to increase consumer data adoption and along-with Micromax’s product expertise," the companies said.

Micromax Canvas Knight Smartphone features MediaTek 1.7GHz True Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 OS, and comes with a 16MP Rear camera and 8MP front camera.
