Vodafone to launch 4G in Mumbai on February 10

Vodafone, the country’s second largest operator, acquired one of Mumbai’s first to launch mobile networks when it entered India. Till date it retains a bulk of the early adopters who have grown in technology and service consumption over the 20-year journey of mobile telephony. Mumbai is the largest data revenue market for Vodafone.
Bengaluru, the city some call the Silicon Valley of India, has high bandwidth consumers as the biggest workforce in the city is comprised of business process outsourcing executives in the technology sector. It was one of the first cities Airtel launched 4G service in, but hasn’t cracked the market just yet.
There is a frenzy in launching 4G services among incumbent operators Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular to pip newcomer Reliance Jio Infocom to it.
