Vodafone to launch 4G in Delhi shortly

India’s second largest mobile carrier announced the availability of 4G SIMs at all Vodafone stores at prominent locations across Delhi & NCR.

KOLKATA: Vodafone India said it is in the final stages of commercially rolling out 4G services in Delhi and is offering 1 GB of free 4G data to would-be customers upgrading to its 4G-ready SIMs that were launched in the capital Thursday.

India’s second largest mobile carrier announced the availability of 4G SIMs at all Vodafone stores at prominent locations across Delhi & NCR.

“Customers upgrading to 4G-Ready SIMs will be rewarded with free 1GB 4G internet at the time of launch. All they need to do is send a short text message to “GO4G” to 199,” Vodafone India said in a media statement.

“A formal announcement regarding the 4G launch, which is expected soon, will be made in due course,” the company said.
