Vodafone India Q3 revenue rises 2.3% to rs 10,897 crore

Vodafone on Thursday reported revenues of £1.103 billion, or about Rs 10,897 crore, for the quarter ended December, compared with £1.098 billion a year ago.

MUMBAI: Vodafone India has posted a 2.3% year-on-year rise in its organic service revenues, with growth restricted by competitive pressures on voice and data prices, mirroring the trends seen in the recent results of listed rivals Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular that have left investors worried.

Vodafone on Thursday reported revenues of £1.103 billion, or about Rs 10,897 crore, for the quarter ended December, compared with £1.098 billion a year ago.

“We continue to face regulatory and competitive challenges in many markets, but the business is well positioned for the growth opportunities ahead,” Vittorio Colao, group chief executive at Vodafone Plc, said.
