Viom gets ISO certification for health, safety initiatives
Telecom infrastructure provider Viom Networks received International Organisation for Standardisation certification for successfully implementing international standards in the company.
"The company has become the first one to receive the ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification," the company said in a press statement.
The company has been awarded the certification for successfully implementing and incorporating international standards of environment management system (EMS) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS) initiatives as its corporate way of life, the company said.
The certificates were handed over to Viom Networks CEO Arun Kapur by Paul House MD SGS India.
SGS is the leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. It is an independent body in management systems certification.
"We are delighted to become the first Indian telecom infrastructure company to receive ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification," Viom Networks CEO Arun Kapur said.
Viom Networks is a joint venture between Tata Teleservices and Quippo, a Srei Group enterprises, operates in the shared passive telecom infrastructure industry in India.
