Voda Idea launches ‘Voice Over Wi-Fi’ calling in Punjab

Telecom service provider Vodafone Idea has rolled out Voice Over WiFi (VoWiFi) calling service for pre-paid and post-paid customers in its Punjab circle.

VoWiFi calling is when you make calls using a Wi-Fi connection. In other words, this feature enables a user to make normal calls using Wi-Fi when you are in places with low or no network signals. Vi has said that its prepaid and post-paid customers in Punjab circle can now undertake VoWifi calling at no extra charge.

The service is now available for Vi customers in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, Bhatinda, amongst others.
