Tata Communications' customer head quits

KOLKATA: James Parker, Tata Communications' executive VP & Chief Customer Officer, has resigned.

Tata Communications managing director Vinod Kumar, "will assume oversight of the sales organisation effective immediately, and continue to steer the business forward as a global digital infrastructure provider," the company said in a BSE regulatory filing Monday.

The company said "plans for a new leadership" of this (read: sales organisation) team would be finalised in coming months.
