Asia's premier technology and telecom forum, the India Mobile Congress (IMC), is returning to New Delhi’s Yashobhoomi this October 7-10. The 10th edition of the expo is working around the theme: scaling global connectivity without boundaries.

Rather than just showcasing new technology, the four-day event tasks global tech leaders and government officials with architecting tomorrow's digital infrastructure. To achieve this, the summit is categorised into four overarching themes: Srishti(Building the Future), Samvardhan(Fuelling Growth), Sashakt (Expanding Opportunities), and Suraksha(Strengthening Trust).

At the core of the conference is Samvardhan, a dedicated track spotlighting the vital infrastructure, manufacturing capabilities, and market access required to scale modern technology. Translating to "growth" or "expansion," Samvardhanfocuses on taking breakthrough digital ideas and establishing the operational and financial frameworks necessary to deploy them worldwide.

The sessions will unfold across three days, designed to move from foundational manufacturing strategies to enterprise impact and, finally, to digital safety and talent development.

The programme begins on October 7 with conversations pivoted around international collaboration during the AI Safety India - UK Panel. The focus immediately grounds itself in hardware with a session on "Telecom Product Manufacturing on Scale," where Dr. Anirudha Dandwate, Director of Operations, Prose Technologies, and Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO, C-DOT, will detail the operational shifts needed to build communication equipment at a global volume.

Following this, Elena Fersmen, Head of Global AI Accelerator at Ericsson, will speak about "Robotics and AI Integration in Transforming Industrial Automation," outlining how smart systems are modernising factory floors. The first day rounds out by addressing the financial realities of this expansion through discussions on "Last-Mile Network Financing" and a two-part deep dive into "Scaling Infrastructure for the AI Era," featuring insights from industry experts Girish Baliga (General Manager-Industry Marketing, Keysight Technologies), Yogesh Verma (Vice President - Sales, Tejas Networks), and Mani Manimohan (Head of Digital Infrastructure Policy & Regulation, GSMA).

On October 8, the track moves toward enterprise applications and national strategic policy. After exploring how to power AI with advanced photonics networks, speakers Sangeeta Roy (Director – Global Partner Business, Country Manager, India, Interim Sales, Marketing & Communications Group, Intel India), Hideki Matsui (SVP, Head of Photonics System Business Unit, 1Finity, a Fujitsu company), and Pankaj Malhotra (Head of BEWS Product & Engineering, Ericsson) will dissect "Scaling Digital Innovation for Enterprise Impact." The latter half of the day is entirely dedicated to the Viksit Tech 47 vision. These policy-driven sessions will act as a blueprint for the next two decades, exploring the enablers required for India’s technological future and analysing what the nation needs to improve to build globally recognised technology brands.

The final leg of the track on October 9 emphasises secure, scalable execution. It begins with "India’s Trusted IoT Stack," where Sudhakara Rao Papa (Director (Enterprise), BSNL), Vijaya Vivek Kamath (CEO, Sensorise Smart Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), and Gaurav Goyal (Business Development Manager OT - India & SAARC, Fortinet Technologies India Pvt Ltd) discuss building secure connections for billions of devices. This is followed by critical GSMA-led sessions on "Protecting the Digital Generation" and Deepak Maheshwari’s analysis of "India's Third Telecom Phase." The day continues with Neeraj Vyas(Head of Digital Business Solutions, Ericsson) exploring business agility through Network as a Service (NaaS), before concluding with a vital focus on the human element and security, addressing telecom talent skilling, national digital safety ecosystems, and the protection of subsea connectivity.

As IMC 2026 sets the stage for the next phase of digital evolution, the practical frameworks established during Samvardhan will play a pivotal role in defining how global infrastructure transitions from concept to widespread reality.
