Jio offers new monthly family postpaid plan at Rs 696 for four members. Check benefits here

Country's biggest telecom operator, Reliance Jio has launched four new Postpaid family Plans – Jio Plus, that will be available free of cost for the first month. As per Jio release, the total monthly charge for the four post-paid connections under the family plan would be just Rs 696 for four family members.

Jio said that the Jio Plus monthly family plans will start at Rs 399 per month and the additional three add-on connections will be available at Rs 99 per SIM. The total monthly charge for four post paid connection would be Rs 696 for a family of four (Rs 399 + Rs 99 x 3). The effective monthly charge for a single family member would be Rs 174 per SIM, Jio said in a release.

Jio has announced other benefits under the new postpaid plans. It said that the family connection holders will be able to Share data with other family members and there would be no daily data limits. The new users can also be able to avail premium facilities mobile number of their own choice, free OTT applications like Netflix, Amazon, JioTV and JioCinema. in-flight connectivity while traveling abroad. India calling at Rs 1 per minute with WiFi calling on international roaming along with single international roaming plan for 129 countries.

The telecom major also said that security deposit will be waived off for customers including JioFiber users, corporate employees, existing mobile postpaid users of other operators and credit card users of Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI.

Here is how to get new Jio postpaid Family plan:
1. Give a missed call on 70000 70000, and start your Jio Plus journey on WhatsApp
2. Select the relevant option to get Security Deposit waiver
3. Book free home delivery of your postpaid SIM
4. During home delivery, do not forget to get 3 more FAMILY SIMs for your family members
5. Pay applicable processing fee @99/SIM during activation
6. Once the master family SIM is activated, link the 3 family members.

Jio Plus will be available starting March 22, 2023 in all Jio Stores and through the home delivery option.
