Jio launches Swiggy One Lite subscription on prepaid plans as part of its Diwali promotions

In a first-of-a-kind offering, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has teamed up with Swiggy for a ‘food delivery subscription’.

Jio users will get a 3-month Swiggy One Lite subscription on recharging with the new Jio-Swiggy Festive prepaid plan, the telco said in a statement. The company also said that as an inaugural festive season offer, users recharging with Jio-Swiggy bundled plan will get ₹50 cashback credited to their MyJio account.

With this recharge, Jio prepaid customers will be able to access Swiggy’s on-demand free delivery benefits across food, grocery and other categories.


With the Jio-Swiggy bundled plan customers get daily 2 GB/day data, unlimited voice and unlimited 5G data for a period of 84 days.

They will also get 3 months of Swiggy One Lite subscription that provides benefit worth ₹600 including:

• 10 free home delivery on food orders above ₹149
• 10 free home delivery on Instamart orders above ₹199
• No surge fees on food and Instamart orders
• Up-to 30% extra discounts on 20K+ food delivery restaurants above regular offers
• 10% discount on Genie deliveries above ₹60
