Indus Towers says no material impact from FIR on establishment of seven Cell on wheels in Kanpur

Indus Towers Monday said it expect no material impact, after being made party in a first information report (FIR) regarding the establishment of seven Cell on wheels in the Kanpur Cantonment board area in contravention of their internal guidelines.

“The said report came to the knowledge of ITL Indus Tower Limited) when few officers of central bureau of investigation visited the office of ITL on 03.09.23 (Sunday) for search and collection of documents in relation to this report and the same were duly shared as per the records available with ITL,” Indus said in the filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

It added that it does not envisage any financial impact on account of the development.


The said FIR has been filed at Lucknow against few officials of Indian Army, alleging that during the year around 2018, they facilitated the establishment of seven cell on wheels in the Kanpur Cantonment board area, which goes against their internal guidelines.
