The technology company, which specialises in building digital networks for telcos, enterprises and governments, will execute this deal through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary. The agreement runs from 2026 through December 2030, with an automatic two-year extension clause. Under the contract, the subsidiary is required to supply a minimum quantity of multi-million fiber kilometres of OFCs , primarily used in internet infrastructure (FTTH) and telecommunications , annually from 2026 to 2028, with the arrangement automatically extending to cover 2029 and 2030.
Purchase orders from the international customer, whose identity has not been disclosed in the filing, will be released periodically based on project-specific and specification-specific requirements. The subsidiary is also eligible to supply OFC to the customer's assignees and authorised affiliates.
HFCL described the deal as a first in its history, the company's maiden long-term, multi-year OFC supply arrangement of this scale. The filing refers to the customer only as "a global multinational corporation."
"This engagement materially strengthens the Company's competitive positioning and reinforces its long-term growth outlook in the global OFC market," the company said in the filing.
