Free 4G for a month! BSNL’s Diwali offer gives unlimited calls, 2GB data daily to new subscribers

State-owned telecom company BSNL has rolled out a special one-month free 4G service offer for new customers, starting from October 15 until November 15, 2025. Under this Diwali Bonanza, new subscribers will need to pay only a token amount of Re 1 to enjoy the 4G service for the entire month.

According to BSNL, the offer is designed to let customers experience the company’s indigenously developed 4G network without any service charges for the first 30 days.

What BSNL’s Free Diwali 4G Offer Includes for New Subscribers

New BSNL customers signing up during this offer will get:

• Unlimited voice calls across India
• 2GB high-speed data per day
• 100 SMS per day
• A free SIM card

This plan allows users to explore BSNL’s 4G services and network coverage while enjoying unlimited calls and daily high-speed data.

Previous BSNL Offer in August Boosted Subscriber Base Significantly

A similar offer in August 2025 helped BSNL significantly increase its mobile subscriber base. With over 1.38 lakh new subscribers added during that period, BSNL surpassed Airtel to secure the second spot for new customer additions in August.

BSNL Chairman Confident About Customer Retention Beyond Free Offer

BSNL chairman and managing director, A Robert J Ravi, expressed confidence that the quality, coverage, and trust associated with the BSNL brand will encourage customers to continue using the service even after the free 30-day period ends.

“This Diwali Bonanza gives customers a proud opportunity to experience our 4G network at no extra cost for the first month. We are confident that our service quality will keep them with BSNL long after the offer ends,” Ravi said.

New customers can avail of this offer by visiting their nearest BSNL store or registering online between October 15 and November 15, 2025. The company aims to attract more subscribers while promoting its homegrown 4G network during the festive season.
