India’s second 5G spectrum sale — the telecom industry’s most watched event — starts on Tuesday. Top carriers, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi), will bid for 5G airwaves. Analysts expect the upcoming sale to run for a day or a day-and-a-half at most.

They expect it to be a low-key affair with only 10.5 GHz of 5G airwaves on sale this time — way below the 72 GHz offered in the country’s maiden 5G spectrum auction of July 2022.
