Broadband readiness index will attract investments: Shamrao dhotre

New Delhi: The proposed broadband readiness index could help states create robust digital infrastructure that could attract new investments, minister of state for telecom Shamrao Dhotre said Tuesday. “The memorandum of understanding (MoU) will create robust infrastructure and attract investment in creating next-gen of communication infrastructure and compliances,” he said.

He was speaking on the sidelines of an event where the DoT inked a pact with ICRIER on operationalising the index.
