A year has zipped by since the launch of high-speed 5G services by Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. Between them, India’s top-two telcos have over 110 million 5G subscribers. Post-rollout of 5G, India is now ranked 47th globally on mobile download speeds, a huge improvement from its 119th position, pre-5G, just over a year back.
