Telecom CDMA body Auspi names new office bearers

KOLKATA: Amit Mathur, executive senior vice president, Reliance Communications Ltd, was unanimously elected president of Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India ( Auspi) at its annual general meeting Tuesday.

Auspi is the industry lobby body representing pure CDMA and dual technology carriers such as Sistema Shyam Teleservices, RCom and Tata Teleservices.

Mathur took over the Auspi reins from Sunil Batra, vice president, corporate affairs,Tata Teleservices.

Arun Kumar Singh, additional vice president, Tata Teleservices, was unanimously elected Auspi vice president.
