Tata Teleservices EBG sets Rs 600-cr revenue target

KOLKATA: The newly-formed Enterprises Business Group (EBG) of Tata Teleservices Limited is eyeing a revenue of Rs 600 crore in the first year of operation.
Vice-President and Head of EBG Uttam Soni told reporters here on Friday that the division was expecting to generate three times the revenue in the next three years.
Soni said that the business unit, under the umbrella of 'eMpower', was constantly devising new solutions, the applications of which, were found in wireless email, remote network access, vehicle tracking system, telemetry, SMS gateway and transaction solutions.
He said that the technologies had been developed using the CDMA platform.
The company runs mobile phone operations using the CDMA technology.
