Tata Tele to invest Rs 2,500 cr

Tata Teleservices on Tuesday said it would invest Rs 2,500 crore in 2006-07 for expansion of both fixed and CDMA-based mobile telecom services, a top Tata Sons official said.

NEW DELHI: Tata Teleservices on Tuesday said it would invest Rs 2,500 crore in 2006-07 for expansion of both fixed and CDMA-based mobile telecom services, a top Tata Sons official said.
The company is also against further dilution of stake in favour foreign companies, Tata Sons Director (Finance) Ishaat Hussain told reporters on the sidelines of the launch of Tata SKY DTH services.
