Tata Docomo appoints Balaji Prakash to head Tamil Nadu Operations

CHENNAI: Tata DoCoMo, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices Limited, today announced the appointment of Balaji Prakash as Mobility Business Unit (MBU) Head - Tamil Nadu Circle.

As the MBU Head, Balaji would be responsible for overseeing company's operations and business in the highly dynamic and growing telecom market of Tamil Nadu.

"As a consummate professional with 18 years of rich experience and extensive knowledge across services and brands, Balaji has an in-depth understanding of a highly enterprising and aggressive market like Tamil Nadu," the company said in a release.

Prior to taking up the new role as MBU Head for TN market, Balaji was the Business Head at FMCG conglomerate, CavinKare and have also worked with some of the leading corporates across diverse industries, including Ford, TTK, Castrol and Lotte.
