Swamy files petition before Delhi court in 2G scam

Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday filed a petition in a Delhi court seeking his inclusion as a public prosecutor in the 2G spectrum case.

NEW DELHI: Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday filed a petition in a Delhi court seeking his inclusion as a public prosecutor in the 2G spectrum case.

In his petition filed before Special CBI Judge Pradeep Chaddah, Swamy pleaded that the court should take cognisance of his plea.

Swamy submitted that he may be appointed as a public prosecutor in the case and also sought a direction from the court that the CBI should assist him in the investigation.
