Swami demands Sibal's resignation on moral ground

INDORE: Accusing Union Minister for Telecom Kapil Sibal of adopting a compromising attitude in the 2G Spectrum scam, Janata Party President, Subramanian Swamy, here today demanded his resignation on moral ground.

Terming the decision to hand over Telecom Ministry to Sibal as 'wrong', Swamy alleged that he was adopting a compromising attitude in the 2G spectrum scam as he had advocated for telecom companies many times over the last 15 years.

The Janata Party President was talking to reporters on the sidelines of the 20th annual conference of the Indore Management Association (IMA).

He also alleged that even his two sons were representing these companies in the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal ( TDSAT).

Swamy advised Sibal that in view of this background, he should himself leave the Telecom Ministry, otherwise his name would get defamed.
