NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court will hear on April 8 Bharti telecom owner Sunil Bharti Mittal's plea against the 2G court's summons order.

A bench, led by the CJI, said this when Mittal's counsel Harish Salve mentioned the matter on an urgent out of turn basis today.

Salve said that Mittal had not gone to the High Court and come to the top court directly to save time. Mittal has been summoned by the Special Court on April 11. He can either appear or be represented by a lawyer on that day. The top court will hear his plea against the summons before that date.
