Spanco fixes date for scheme of arrangement

Spanco Telesystems on Wednesday said it has fixed January 1, as the appointed date for the scheme of arrangement between Intelenet BPO Services Ltd (IBSL) and itself, for demerger of its BPO unit, Sparsh.

MUMBAI: City-based telecom solutions company, Spanco Telesystems on Wednesday said it has fixed January 1, as the appointed date for the scheme of arrangement between Intelenet BPO Services Ltd (IBSL) and itself, for demerger of its BPO unit, Sparsh.
Further the company has informed that the certified true copy of the Mumbai High Court order approving the scheme has been filed with the registrar of companies, Mumbai, on August 29.
Pursuant to scheme of arrangement every equity shareholder of the company would be allotted one fully paid up equity share of Rs 10 each in IBSL for every three fully paid up equity shares of the same value held in the company, it added.
Consequent to the said scheme, the equity share capital of the company would be reduced to Rs 15.82 crore from Rs 23.73 crore.
Shares of Spanco Telesystems and Solutions Ltd closed at Rs 126.55, up 0.92 per cent at the BSE.
