Sistema Shyam to engage auto drivers in 'I-Pledge' campaign to boost MTS sales
An auto driver will have to pledge that he will drive safely which will be determined through SMS send by passengers. The driver getting the maximum votes will be awarded a brand new auto rickshaw.
The company has plans to start campaign, I-Pledge, on safe drive under which auto-rickshaw driver can register themselves to win a auto-rickshaw of their own.
In addition to this auto-rickshaw driver registered under programme will get Rs 50 to Rs 100 for guiding a customer to MTS store which the company expects help in increasing traffic at the MTS store and help in customer acquisition.
"The I-Pledge initiative involving autorickshaw drivers is a part of MTS' effort to engage and connect with communities in an innovative manner. This one-of-a-kind initiative will kick-start in the city of Ahmedabad in the last week of August 2013," MTS India's Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Leonid Musatov said.
Auto-rickshaw driver registered under the programme will have to pledge that will drive safely on the road which will be determined through SMS send by passenger in the auto to an MTS number written on the back of driver seat.
