Sistema Shyam TeleServices LTD launches next generation MBlaze in Kerala

KOCHI: Sistema Shyam TeleServices LTD which provides telecom services under the MTS brand, today launched the MBlaze Ultra dongle on its 3G-plus telecom network in Kerala.

With the state-of-the-art Evolution-Data Optimised (EV-DO) Rev B Phase II technology, MBlaze ultra provides the download data speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps and operates on 800 MHz spectrum.

The commercial roll out of the MTS' 3GPLUS network will greatly enhance the mobile broadband experience of MBlaze Ultra users, K V Radhakrishnan, Chief Operating Officer, Kerala Circle, MTS India told reporters here.

The company has also drawn plans to launch a slew of smart phones by the end of 2013, enabling customers to further utilise the power of the 3GPlus network, he said.

"The state-of-the-art network empowers us to provide an enhanced consumer experience with constantly higher data speeds, superior indoor penetration and outdoor coverage," he said.

MTS is present in nine circles, including Delhi, Rajasthan, and Kerala and provides telecom services to 10 million customers, including more than 1.1 million data customers, he said.

Pointing that Data market was the next big potential, he said only 10 per cent of Indians use Internet. Only one per cent of population has an Internet connection.
