Sistema Shyam Chief Technology Officer Ashwini Khillan quits

NEW DELHI: Sistema Shyam TeleServices’ chief technology officer Ashwini Khillan has resigned after nearly a six-year stint with the company. Khillan is currently serving his notice period, people familiar with the matter said. The company declined to comment, as did Khillan. Sistema Shyam Teleservices, the Indian subdivision of Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, provides CDMA telecom services under the MTS brand. Khillan joined the company in May 2008 as director of network planning. Before taking over as CTO, he also worked as director-network operations since October 2010. He has over 22 years of experience in network technology and strategy, greenfield network setups, network operations and network managed services. Before joining Sistema, Khillan held key positions at leading telecom companies in India.
