Private telecom operator Reliance Communications and Canada-based company Research in Motion (RIM) have launched the BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone in the India market.

MUMBAI: Private telecom operator Reliance Communications and Canada-based company Research in Motion (RIM) have launched the BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone in the India market.

Starting July 8, Reliance Communications' customers across India have been able to enjoy the option of choosing the new sleek and stylish high-speed smartphone, a company release said here on Monday.

The new phone, priced at Rs 25,990, offers a powerful combination of communications and multimedia capabilities, it said.

Available in elegant silver colour, the new smartphone has features such as CDMA connectivity, access to e-mail, phone, organiser, browser and other mobile business leisure applications, instant messaging with BlackBerry and Yahoo messengers and Google Talk.
