Reliance Communications' chief information officer Alpna Doshi quits

NEW DELHI: Reliance Communications’ chief information officer Alpna J Doshi has quit after a six-and-a-half-year stint with the company. She is joining Royal Philips as group CIO, business transformation and IT worldwide, based at the company’s Netherlands headquarters.

Doshi was also serving as the chief executive officer of Reliance Tech Services, the IT organisation of India’s integrated telecom company (RCom). A query sent to RCom remained unanswered at press time. Doshi, with over two decades of experiences in information, communication, and entertainment industries, and other industry domains, was driving crucial IT transformational initiatives to support business growth at RCom.

She has led major initiatives with Reliance Communications and Verizon. Doshi has also worked with Telcordia Technology and Mahindra Satyam, and also led some initiatives with Deloitte and Touche Management Consulting. Doshi also enabled business transformation for multiple verticals such as BFSI, infrastructure, power, health and entertainment.
