R&D centres in 2-5 years to be based on business environment: Ericsson
Ericsson said its investment plans for next 2-5 years in Research and Development centres will be based on the overall business environment.
"Ericsson, world's largest provider of telecom services, recognises high potential of talent in India. Our India R&D centres are involved in top technology development for our global market," Ericsson IP and Broadband Development Vice- President Maya Strelar-Migotti said today.
Apart from investing approximately 15 per cent of its total sales into R&D in 2010, Ericsson had more than 20,000 R&D employees by year-end, Migotti said. Over 80 per cent of our product development is software related, she said.
